Put your mind at rest with a CCTV system.

Monday, August 29th, 2011

Gone are the days where we trust our neighbours and innocent until proven guilty no longer seems to be the case.  We all seem to automatically believe someone  is no good until they prove us otherwise and because of this most people want  to add security protection to their home. Not that long ago people would have left their homes unlocked while they popped out to the shops or to pick  children up from school but now it is an automatic reaction to lock your door even if you are only popping next door for a brew and a natter. People seem to believe that everyone is out to do bad things and although there are people out there wanting to do bad things most people are not and would most likely appreciate a world where they did not need to worry about security so much.

If you are worried about security at home then having a CCTV system put into place will give you peace of mind especially if you choose a system which can be accessed remotely over the internet, this mean that you can access it and check that your home is safe no matter where you are in the world as long as you have an internet connection.

Protect your business inside and out.

When you have your own business it is essential that you have the right security protection in place, not only do you need to protect your staff but you also need to protect any equipment you have in your premises. When you are protecting your business you can choose to use only outdoor CCTV systems or maybe just an indoor CCTV system but it will also be beneficial to put both an indoor and outdoor CCTV system into place if your premises are large.

A business premise can be a target for vandalism and burglary and so it is extremely important that you protect yourself as best as you can, ideally having an outdoor CCTV system In place will act as a deterrent so that your business premise will not burgled or vandalised, however if it does not act as a deterrent it will detect anything that goes on outside of your property and so you can be assured that you will have footage to enable you to prosecute anyone who may burgle your premises. An indoor security system will be able to capture where in your premises they go and what it is they seem to have been most interested in taking, they may come in looking for something specifically or they may just take anything that looks like it’s worth a lot of money. Putting a CCTV system into place will give your business the protection it needs.

There is now a perfect CCTV system for any budget and use.

Protect your home when you are on holiday, whether you are home or away.

Monday, August 8th, 2011

We all love our holidays and so when we go away we do not want to be worrying about whether our home is safe. When we holiday within the UK we don’t worry about our homes as much as we do when we are abroad and yet our home is at the same risk of being burgled if we are in the country or not. There is always a risk of our home being burgled or vandalised and yet most of us do not worry about this during our day to day lives, we seem to think that  because we are only going to work that our home is safe and yet it is just as likely that we will get burgled when we’re out at work because we stick to a routine and so if a burglary is premeditated then they will have watched you and your home for a while.

Having CCTV protection for your home will allow you to leave your home when you are on holiday without worrying about whether it is safe, it also allows you the freedom to not think about your home while you are out day to day. A CCTV camera should hopefully act as a deterrent but if it does not then it will detect anything that goes on outside your home and it will record anything that goes on, you could even use the footage to prosecute.

CCTV is an abbreviation for closed circuit television.

Monday, August 1st, 2011

CCTV is an abbreviation for closed circuit television. This is when a series of television cameras are fixed in strategic locations to take pictures of objects or people continuously. The most important part is that these pictures can be seen remotely on a television screen.

That way, the person who is looking at the television screen will be able to see what is happening at a certain location without being seen by anyone. However, even if there is no one to monitor the television, the images can be recorded to be seen at a later time or location.

Needless to say, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out the huge security potential CCTV cameras offer. If a camera, or several cameras are installed, and assuming they are in working condition, it is possible to see what is happening at that location at any given time.

This technology has become so popular that not only business establishments, but even homes have started using them. Studies have shown that just the presence of CCTV cameras is capable of deterring criminal activity. In fact, it has proven to be so effective that people have started installing fake, but real looking cameras around the house or building.
