Details
The 8mm lens on this camera is very much a general purpose lens. Whilst the 3.6mm lens version gives a wide angle of view and the 12mm version gives a tighter field of view 8mm provides a little over 40 degrees angle of view making it suitable for filming doorways and so on. As with all the open dome cameras suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Detail capture guide: This camera would be able to record a car number plate at up to around 9 metres during the day.
