This looks like a alarm PIR movement detector but it is in fact a professional quality CCTV camera.
High quality 1/3 inch Sony CCD and Sony DSP chipset give excellent video results for such a unique product. They allow filming to take place in light levels as low as 0.01 lux
The unit comes complete with a wall mounting bracket which further adds to the illusion that this is only a PIR detector. It also features a built in microphone to capture audio.
The 3.6mm lens gives a wide angle field of view, approximately 80 degrees. Try to fit this as close a possible to the subject you are trying to film in order to capture as much detail as possible.
We have used this camera to successfully identify "rouge trader" type operators who often pray on older people. Combined with a remote access DVR recorder one of these could provide piece of mind for an elderly relative and allow you to monitor doorstep vendors.
