This latest generation of DVR recorders really is a fantastic machine to base your CCTV system around. Remember to order your hard drive, as a guide allow a minimum of around 250Gb per camera. You can have up to 2TB of hard drive space installed in this DVR.
As with all our DVR recorders if you order this DVR together with a suitable hard drive we will not only fit the hard drive into the DVR recorder but also format it ready for use and then configure the DVR so that it's plug and play when it arrives with you.

As an option we have a wireless mouse available if you wanted to locate the DVR out of view. This particular range of DVR recorders also features a full function remote access menu as well. This not only allows you to change settings on the DVR remotely over the internet or your local network but it also allows us to provide remote assistance should you need help providing the DVR is connected to the internet and configured for remote viewing.
Functionality wise there isn't much this recorder can't do.
Built in motion detected recording with individually variable detection zones. You can select which area on the screen you want to use as a detection zone, this vastly reduces the number of false alarms from moving trees, background movement light changes and so on. You can also adjust the sensitivity of the motion detection. You don't need external detectors or special cameras for this to work, the DVR does everything.
Email alert on motion. This function emails you a jpeg image when motion is detected showing what triggered the motion detection. This is a far more intelligent way of monitoring activity from off site. An alarm tells you something has triggered it but you have to drive to the site to find out what. Email alert instantly shows you what the problem is and whether you need to act on it.
PTZ control. Pan tilt zoom cameras can be controlled by the DVR recorder using RS485 and the following protocols: Pelco P, Pelco D, Lilin, Minking, Neon, Star, Vido, DSCP, VISCA, Samsung, RM110, HY and N-control with baud rates from 110 to 921600. Up to 255 individual cameras can theoretically be controlled by the DVR recorder. Camera control is possible using the mouse on the DVR, the computer remote access via your local network or the internet, or even a mobile phone. You can programme pre-set target points and link them together to forma route along which the camera travels.
Programmable scheduled recording allows different types of recording at different times of the day. For instance you may not want motion triggered recording during the day due to high traffic but at night or at weekends when no traffic is expected you might want to turn motion triggered recording on.
Variable display which allows you to see a number of camera combinations on screen. Output is via either BNC or high resolution VGA up to 1280 x 1044. There is a customer facing "call" monitor which shows individual cameras either on a static or rolling basis. Individual camera names can be displayed with selectable on screen positions.
Full function remote access over the internet or your local network. This allows you to see your cameras live, change settings on the DVR recorder, review previously recorded footage and make back up copies of previously recorded footage. The high functionality also allows us to provide assistance remotely in the event you have any problems or questions. This high level of functionality is also available when accessing the DVR via a mobile phone.
Hexaplex operation. This means the DVR continues recording even when you are making settings changes, backing up footage or remote accessing over the internet.
Individual camera selectable recording resolution. You can select the recording resolution, bit rate and number of frames per second independently on each camera. This allows absolute hard drive management to ensure maximum recording time. We recommend recording all your cameras in D1 resolution but there may be situations where regulations require venues such as pubs and clubs to store footage for large amounts of time. Traditionally that has meant you have to record in low resolution. With these CCTV DVR recorders you can have strategic cameras recording in high resolution, the rest of the system recording in lower resolution to allow extended storage times.
This DVR features a fanless chassis heat dispersal system which means virtually silent operation.
It is possible to link multiple DVRs together using the supplied CMS software.
